We were told to make our own mashup of two (or more!) objects for this assignment, using inspiration from the lecture we attended on the function of remixed objects. I had so much fun designing these! I sincerely hope you enjoy what I've done. Comments are very much appreciated.

                                                        Broccoli Tree Salad

Description: 

I like to use my food in unique ways! And while I adore cooking, I must admit that I love eating much more! 😂 Broccoli is one of my fave veggies, and I've been eating a lot of it lately. To add a playful and eye-catching element to the design, I considered utilizing broccoli as the limbs or branches of a tree and placing it inside a bowl or pot in hand with a fork inserted to simulate it being a salad. It's a fantastic method to add excitement and enjoyment to healthy eating!

                                                   The Angry Grenade Egg

Description: 

Because of my imaginative and humorous nature, I chose to create a mashup of an angry grenade egg in a frying pan! Combining the ideas of a fried egg on a skillet as an angry grenade results in an innovative and intriguing picture. It gives my design a little bit of humor and is a fun method for me to express my creativity. The way several components might combine to produce something entirely fresh and inventive is also always fascinating to see!

                                                        Security Camera

Description: 

To investigate the idea of surveillance and perception in a novel way, I choose to develop a mashup of a security camera with an eyeball! I've created a picture that provokes contemplation by fusing the human eye—a sign of awareness and observation—with the security camera, which stands for monitoring and surveillance. There are intriguing considerations regarding privacy, awareness, and the function of monitoring in our lives raised by this intriguing fusion of technology and human senses.

                                                   The Octopus Rastaman

Description: 

Because I'm Jamaican, I couldn't help but create a mashup of an octopus head on a Rasta man. Plus, my mind is just that creative, mon! 😂 It's similar to fusing the exuberant and carefree vibe of a Rasta guy with the enigmatic and perceptive qualities of an octopus. It's a distinctive and entertaining idea that honors the grandeur of the ocean as well as the beauty of the various facets of my culture. In addition, it's just pretty amazing to watch how various components may combine to make something incredibly beautiful.

Because I adore the beach and am fascinated by marine life, I wanted to draw a mashup of a blue whale submarine in the water! It's similar to fusing a submarine's cutting-edge technology with the elegance and majesty of a blue whale. With the help of this mashup, you may explore the ocean's depths and picture what it would be like to see these amazing species up close. It's a unique opportunity for me to honour the ocean's beauty and share my passion for marine life!

Description: 

I wanted to create a design that welcomes my journey with kindness and confidence, spreading self-love along the way, therefore I decided to create a mashup of a frog sitting on a rock with spikes on its back! This mashup, which combines the edginess of the spikes with the cuteness of a frog, embodies my courageous and unique attitude. It's a picture of my inner fortitude and resiliency, perched atop a rock. It's a potent picture that demonstrates my capacity to be simultaneously gentle and strong.
